Sale of Liquor Act
You must be over the age of 18 to purchase Liquor from 1-daycellar.co.nz as detailed in Section 172 of the Sale of Liquor Act, which states...

(1) Every person commits an offence and is liable to a fine not exceeding ($2,000) who falsely represents in writing to the licensee or a manager of any licensed premises, or to any employee of the licensee, that he or she is a person to whom liquor may be sold or supplied under the licence. (2) Every person commits an offence and is liable to a fine not exceeding ($1,000) who falsely represents otherwise than in writing to the licensee or a manager of any licensed premises, or to any employee of the licensee, that he or she is a person to whom liquor may be sold or supplied under the licence.

When ordering from 1-daycellar you acknowledge and confirm that you are over 18 and legally entitled to purchase liquor. Please note that we may be required by law to release information gathered from you when you place you order to the various enforcement agencies. Returns Policy
We know from the feedback we receive from you that you love us to hunt down the best products at bargain prices. To do this we try to keep all of our costs down including the cost of covering returns from our customers and do not accept returns except where the basis of the return is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act. So when you're at the checkout, take a second to run your eye over your order for any slips of the finger before submitting because once you've submitted it, it's too late!!

How to return a product:
If you think that you have a valid reason to return under the policies described above please contact us before sending your order back to us as the processes we use are different depending upon your situation. If you don't contact us first it could delay your request or result in your claim being rejected. In all cases proof of purchase will be necessary to process your request.

Change to orders
We know that our sales can be popular and things sell fast but it's really important for everyone that our customers orders come through with all the information we need. Unfortunately, once you've submitted your order and payment has been accepted we can't make any changes to quantity and address details. It's not that we don't want to but our dispatch team moves so fast to get your parcel to you quickly that it's often too late to change anything..

You don't need to rush things once the product is in your basket as you have up to 5 minutes to finish the order before you lose the product from your basket. In the meantime that product is allocated to you and cannot be purchased by another customer.

Out of Stock and Backorders
While we do everything we can to make sure our stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to fulfill your order or source a replacement product. If this should occur we will contact you and offer either a store credit for the value of your purchase or a full refund. Please note that we cannot offer a backorder or "rain check" facility.
